At NTT Europe Online we are always exploring new ways to improve the service we provide to our customers and the Customer Portal is a vital cornerstone in that service. As you might expect the Customer Portal provides our customers with a channel through which they can communicate directly with the Customer Support Centre, view their system footprint and raise “support tickets” but there is so much more to it than that…
The Customer Portal:
- Provides real-time system monitoring of customers’ devices including data on their CPU/Memory and Disk usage
- Once a support ticket has been raised customers can view the actions being taken by NTTEO staff to resolve these issues
- The portal provides a user management facility. For example this can be used to change the permissions of the customers own contact personnel
- Provides access to a range of reports on subjects such as Network, Intrusion and back-up history
- Customers can use the portal to check all aspects of system security including Firewall information, real-time security alerts and logs
- Lastly those customers subscribing to our Virtualization offering have the capability to manage their Virtual environment remotely - switching virtual machines on and off and moving them as and when they are needed
