Screen Pages and NTT Europe Online form strategic partnership to support growth of online retail and e-commerce markets
Screen Pages, the online retail service provider, today announced a partnership agreement with global network and managed hosting provider, NTT Europe Online, to enhance the e-commerce services it provides to retail and mail order businesses. Customers already using the hosting service include Extreme Pie, Thorntons, The Natural World and Crew Clothing among many others, representing combined monthly online revenues of over £5 million, from 1.5 million plus visitors.
The continuing growth of the Internet as a retail sales channel was recently highlighted when IMRG, the leading industry body for global e-retail, issued its May 2006 survey suggesting that over 45 per cent of its respondents are planning to increase their online spending in 2006. The figures also showed that £30 billion of retail spending is now online.
