26 Jun 2006: Gartner Magic Quadrant

NTT Europe Online positioned as ‘Challenger’ in Gartner pan European Managed Hosting Magic Quadrant

NTT Communications today announced its inclusion in the challenger quadrant of the Gartner Magic Quadrant for pan-European Web Hosting*.

This is the first European managed hosting report from Gartner for three years which underlines the resurgence and growth of the market. In the report, Gartner recognises the changing focus of the industry, stating that ‘web-hosting providers must still be carefully selected; while the technological expertise is becoming a commodity, the service experience is certainly not.’

NTT Communications’ inclusion in the Magic Quadrant follows a programme of development and investment by the company including the expansion of its product portfolio and enhancements to its service delivery and support processes. This has enabled NTT Communications to fully focus on the design, delivery and management of business-critical Internet infrastructures and online solutions.

“We believe the inclusion of NTT Communications as a challenger in the Gartner Quadrant has topped off a period of great development and growth for the business,” states Weynand Kuijpers, VP Marketing and Sales Strategy at NTT Europe Online.

“Our focus on solution led services, partner development and service delivery ensures that we are now frequently challenging the market leaders in the managed hosting space, providing business critical services to global organisations across a range of vertical markets. With a number of exciting opportunities in the pipeline, we will continue to concentrate on our core principles of service, results, vision and innovation across Europe and look forward to 2007.”

Inclusion in the Gartner Magic Quadrant is evaluated on a company’s ability to execute and the completeness of its strategic vision.
