VERIO Europe becomes NTT Europe Online
NTT Europe Online, a subsidiary of NTT Communications, today announced that it has completed its change of name from VERIO Europe and launched its new web presence at http://www.ntteuropeonline.com. The VERIO name will be retained as a brand for NTT Europe Online’s shared web hosting business.
The completion of the name change represents a major step forward for the business, based on its focus on solution led services, partner development, service delivery and the successes it has achieved this year including:
- The award of several important contracts, such as a £6 million plus contract with outsourcing and technology expert Xansa to provide web hosting, managed security and content distribution services to underpin a web services platform for three major UK Government departments.
- The achievement of IS027001 certification across Europe for Information Security Management
- Inclusion in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for pan-European Web Hosting(1)
