Vivantio secures the customer experience with NTT Europe Online

Service desk software company uses virtualized hosting platform to provide reliable, secure service

London, 12 May 2009 – Vivantio has chosen NTT Europe Online’s secure managed hosting platform to deliver its service desk solutions via Software as a Service (SaaS). The platform, which will use VMware virtualization technology, is due to go live at the end of March.

Vivantio was the first company in the UK to offer one service desk application both on-site and via SaaS, and this next step demonstrates its commitment to delivering a premium service using cloud computing-based technology. With its SaaS delivery model growing to over 80% of its business in 2009, it needed to partner with a hosting provider that could provide the reliable, secure platform it required, while also offering the potential to expand its business globally.

Using NTT Europe Online’s virtualization technology, Vivantio is able to deliver a multi-tenant SaaS application to its customers, secure in the knowledge that its applications will be available whenever they are required.
